ETTC is a non-profit club that promotes sportsmanship, inclusivity, and enjoyment of the game. Members or participants in activities organized by ETTC agree to adhere to the following code of conduct.
1. Respect and Sportsmanship
- Treat all members, opponents, and visitors with respect and courtesy.
- Avoid offensive language, rude behavior, and unsportsmanlike conduct.
- Respect the decisions of match officials and club organizers.
2. Fair Play
- Follow the official table tennis rules during matches and training.
- Be honest in line calls and scorekeeping.
- Encourage fair play and discourage cheating or dishonesty.
3. Safety and Equipment
- Ensure that the playing area is safe and free of hazards.
- Use club equipment responsibly and return it after use.
- Report any damaged equipment or safety concerns to club officials.
4. Inclusivity and Participation
- Welcome players of all skill levels and backgrounds.
- Encourage new members and help them feel included.
- Respect diversity and do not engage in discrimination or harassment.
5. Club Etiquette
- Arrive on time for practice sessions and events.
- Help set up and clean up equipment before and after play.
- Keep the playing area tidy and dispose of any waste properly.
6. Consequences of Misconduct
- Any breach of this code may result in a warning from club officials.
- Repeated or serious violations may lead to suspension or expulsion.
- The club reserves the right to take appropriate action to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
